ACTIONAID Zambia says authorities should be tough when dealing with corrupt public officials by ensuring that they are not only charged but fired too. Secretary to Cabinet Patrick Kangwa recently warned that Cabinet office, working with the treasury, would not hesitate to invoke punitive actions against erring controlling officers and their officers. In an interview, ActionAid interim Country Director Musonda Kabinga described Kangwa’s warning as timely. “The warning by Secretary to the Cabinet is timely.
