THE Auditor General’s report on the accounts of parastatal bodies and other statutory institutions has revealed that as at September 30, 2022, ZAMMSA had not disposed of various medicines and medical supplies costing over K5 million which expired in 2020 and 2021 at three stations. According to the report, as at September 30, 2022, the expired medicines and medical supplies were still quarantined in warehouses. The report named the three stations as Choma hub, with expired medicines and medical supplies costing K301,766; Mongu hub K591,781 and Luanshya hub K4,572,838.
