PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has, on the recommendations of the Judicial Service Commission, appointed Professor Margaret Munalula as Judge president of the Constitutional Court and Arnold Shilimi as deputy president of the court. The President has also appointed Mudford Mwandenga, Judge Maria Kawimbe and Judge Kenneth Mulife as judges of the Constitutional Court, subject to ratification by the National Assembly. Meanwhile, President Hichilema has appointed judge Mwiinde Siavwapa as Judge president of the Court of Appeal, while justices Abha Patel and Yvonne Chembe have been appointed as Judges of the Court of Appeal, subject to ratification by the National Assembly.
