THE Department of National Parks and Wildlife (DNPW) has cautioned residents of Lilayi and surrounding areas to take precautionary measures, especially at night, in view of reports of a roaming lion in the area. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Tourism yesterday, the department assured that wildlife police officers and veterinary officers had been deployed to gather facts and to take action if the lion is spotted. “The Department of National Parks and Wildlife (DNPW) have received a number of reports on the Human Wildlife conflicts in Lusaka, Mungwi and Nalolo Districts.
