ANTI-Corruption Commission (ACC) Director General Tom Shamakamba says the Commission’s decision to withdraw the honeybee corruption case from court was a strategic move in readiness for something new. Shamakamba has also confirmed the resignation of the ACC’s lead investigator in the honeybee case from the Commission but says it has nothing to do with the honeybee matter. A fortnight ago, ACC withdrew a matter in which former Health Minister Dr Chitalu Chilufya, former Attorney General Likando Kalaluka SC and six others were facing a charge of conspiracy to defraud the government.
