LAW Association of Zambia (LAZ) president Lungisani Zulu has called on the government to urgently develop a definite road map towards the constitutional review process. And Zulu says the association, through consultations, has noted that there are areas that require strengthening in the current Constitution based on unadopted recommendations from the past constitutional review processes. Meanwhile, former Law Association of Zambia president Abyudi Shonga says lawyers should take a leading role in matters of the law, adding that the Constitution is one such item.
