HOME Affairs and Internal Security Minister Jack Mwiimbu says government will not allow protests meant to embarrass government and the Zambian people ahead of the Democratic Summit. And Inspector General of police Lemmy Kajoba has warned individuals planning to protest that police officers are fully equipped and ready to deal with them. Recently, PF leaders indicated that the party planned to protest ahead of the Democratic Summit and US Vice-President Kamala Harris’ visit to Zambia if government does not give details on the summit and if it does not address LGBTQ issues.
