UNIVERSITY of Zambia Caretaker Committee has refuted three UNZA trade unions’ claims that government is interfering in the selection process for top management. On Wednesday, the three trade Unions namely; University of Zambia Lecturers and Researchers Union (UNZALARU), University of Zambia Professional Staff Union (UNZAPROSU) and the University of Zambia Allied Workers Union (UNZAAWU) held a joint press briefing where they accused Education Minister Douglas Syakalima of interfering in the selection process for the university’s top management.
