PF lawyer George Chisanga has refuted Home Affairs Minister Jack Mwiimbu’s claims that the vehicles which were in former First Lady Esther Lungu’s possession were acquired after an abduction. And Deputy Police Public Relations Officer Danny Mwale says police have recorded a statement from Esther’s niece Catherine Banda and have yet to retrieve the other two vehicles. Meanwhile, PF vice-president Given Lubinda says Stephen Kampyongo and Davies Mwila were better home affairs ministers than Mwiimbu. Yesterday, Esther and her niece Catherine Banda were questioned at Woodlands Police station over the said vehicles. The duo was accompanied by Esther’s husband Edgar Lungu, who is former president, and other PF members who included Brian Mundubile, Mumbi Phiri, Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba, among others....
