UPND Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says the party is happy with Mines and Minerals Development Minister Paul Kabuswe’s stance to hold back the announcement on the way forward for KCM and Mopani copper mines. Recently, Economic Front Leader Wynter Kabimba said UPND was delaying to conclude the KCM, Mopani deal because they were looking for a user-friendly investor who would finance their election campaigns 2026.
