FORMER Ministry of Defence permanent secretary Stardy Mwale, who is accused of corruption in relation to the procurement of a presidential jet, has written to President Hakainde Hichilema requesting that his oath of secrecy be lifted. Mwale says people need to know the manner in which the US$400,000,000 was spent in the procurement of the Gulfstream and whether the funds even came into the country. But Presidential Legal advisor Christopher Mundia says he is yet to see Mwale’s letter.
