MINISTRY of Agriculture Permanent Secretary Green Mbozi says farmers are sceptical about engaging in early maize production because of how such exercises were managed in the past. Last month, Zambia National Farmers Union (ZNFU) president Jervis Zimba said the union was conducting a survey to see how many farmers would be interested in engaging in early maize production.
