POLICE in Chingola on the Copperbelt Province have unearthed a scam in which counterfeit fertilizer is allegedly being manufactured and supplied to unsuspecting farmers in the area. The Police have since apprehended 10 people in connection with the same. In a statement yesterday, Copperbelt Police Commissioner Peacewell Mweemba disclosed that the 10 were arrested at Busy Bee Lodge situated in Chingola. “RE: Suspected counterfeit fertilizer product.
