EMBATTLED Matero constituency PF member of parliament Miles Sampa yesterday held a “PF extra-ordinary conference” where he was elected as party president. But Sampa’s actions did not sit well with PF vice-president Given Lubinda who immediately expelled him from the party. And PF Chairperson for Information and Publicity Emmanuel Mwamba has accused State House of sponsoring Sampa’s election, saying the UPND government wants to destroy the opposition party. State House Chief Communications Specialist Clayson Hamasaka, however, says State House must not be dragged into PF issues. Meanwhile, the conference also unanimously resolved to expel Lubinda and Raphael Nakacinda from the party for delaying the elective conference.
