SACCORD executive director Boniface Cheembe has encouraged government to focus on its mandate without expecting praise from the opposition, saying it’s rare for opposition parties to do that. In an interview, Tuesday, Cheembe said the ruling party should not be distracted when the opposition only has negative things to say about the current leadership. “From a SACCORD point of view, what matters is that the ruling party just needs to be focused on doing what they feel and what they are expected to do.
