THE TRADE Kings Foundation has donated K250,000 to the government in an effort to support the rescue mission of trapped miners at Senseli Mine in Chingola on the Copperbelt. More than 30 miners are said to have been trapped at Senseli Mine on the Copperbelt after the open pit mine they were working under collapsed due to torrential rainfall. Rescue efforts were formed by government and other stakeholders who include all mine rescue teams in Chingola. One person was rescued alive whilst more than 10 bodies were retrieved from the collapsed mine with more expected to be retrieved this week.
