THE Report of the Auditor General on the Accounts of Parastatal Bodies and other Statutory Institutions for the financial year ended 31st December 2022 has revealed that some principal members on the NHIMA Scheme had beneficiaries ranging from seven to 63, above the allowable maximum of six. And the Report has revealed that 3,062 questionable transactions with a total value of K915,919 were processed in respect of persons aged between 101 years and 1,947 years. Meanwhile, the Report stated that 833,411 members with questionable documents claimed over K78 million from NHIMA.
