THE Anti-Corruption Commission ACC on Tuesday questioned Zhang Lianan of Lianan Mining Ltd, the Chinese investor involved in Stanley Kakubo’s mine transaction. Last week ACC raided Kakubo’s house in search of corruption evidence implicating the former minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. This is in a case where Kakubo entered into an agreement with Chinese nationals in 2022 regarding the sale of a mine which he owned in Kasempa District.
