BATA Zambia and the Zambia Medical Association (ZMA) have donated assorted cholera infection prevention materials to the Ministry of Health. Bata Zambia has donated 500 pairs of boots to ensure infection prevention, while ZMA has donated infection prevention materials such as soap and chlorine. On Tuesday, Trade Kings Foundation also donated hygiene items to the ministry to the value of K2.5 million. Meanwhile, the country has in the last 24 hours recorded 528 new cholera cases with 17 deaths, bringing the cumulative number of cases since October 2023 to 7,529 with 528 deaths. 1,113 were in admission as of yesterday while 669 were discharged.
