STATE House has described the demands from the Umodzi Kum’mawa group for President Hakainde Hichilema to appoint an easterner as his new Minister of Foreign Affairs as nonsensical. And Economist Noel Nkhoma, who is among the easterners suggested by the group, says he wouldn’t want to give legitimacy to things he doesn’t know about. Meanwhile, former health minister Angela Cifire says the demand from the group is neither here nor there as the prerogative power to appoint rests with the President.
