SPEAKER of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti has ruled that members of parliament will be paid their sitting allowances according to their attendance of parliamentary proceedings. Last month, Moomba UPND member of parliament Fred Chaatila raised a point of order against Lunte PF member of parliament Mutotwe Kafwaya, wondering whether he was in order to attend sittings for about five to 10 minutes everyday and get allowances for each day.
