ATTORNEY General Mulilo Kabesha has warned those serving in the UPND government to ensure they keep receipts even as they buy property, stating that time will come for them to account for what they own. And Kabesha has argued that law enforcement agencies are also investigating officials under the current government. Last week, the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court sentenced former Secretary to the Treasury Fredson Yamba to three years on two counts of wilful failure to comply with laid-down procedures, while former Foreign Affairs minister Joseph Malanji was sentenced to four years on seven counts of being in possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime.
