SPEAKER of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti has suspended Mpika PF MP Francis Kapyanga for 14 days after finding him guilty of contempt of the House. The suspension follows a story published in the News Diggers newspaper on July 4, 2025 titled, “Stand as MP to debate freely, Kapyanga tells Mutti,” which the Speaker said undermined her reputation and office.
