ZEMA Acting Director General Karen Etondo says Chinese-owned Gold Tiger Quarry Limited appears to have violated its license in connection with the mine blast that injured at least 18 people in Chilanga recently, and as such, ZEMA will issue an enforcement order on the company. Etondo adds that the agency is still working to determine whether the company obtained prior authorisation from the Mine Safety Department for the blasting activities.
