THE Non-governmental Gender Organisations’ Coordinating Council (NGOCC) has lamented that the nullification of Tasila Lungu’s parliamentary seat is a setback for women’s representation in the House. On Friday, Speaker of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti declared the Chawama seat vacant following the continued absence of the member of parliament, Tasila. Tasila has been absent since the death of her father, former president Edgar Lungu, in June this year.
