TEACHING Service Commission (TSC) Chairperson Daphne Chimuka has disclosed that government has granted Treasury authority to recruit 2,000 teachers for 2025. She says the commission is just waiting for the Minister of Education to take the matter to Cabinet before an announcement is made. Government is earmarked to recruit 2,000 teachers for 2025 and 3,500 for 2026.
