THE Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested three officers from the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries for misappropriating part of a US$10 million loan which government obtained from the African Development Bank (AfDB) in 2019. ACC investigations have revealed that over $5 million allocated for administrative activities was extensively misapplied, with $1,346,907.27 being illicitly transferred into personal accounts under false pretences and an additional $142,946.13 withdrawn in cash and shared among the officers.
