THE National Assembly has suspended its standing orders to extend its sittings to Monday and Tuesday to consider Bill 7, which comes up for second reading and Committee Stage on those days. The House, which was initially set to adjourn sine die yesterday, will now sit on Monday, December 15 and Tuesday, December 16, 2025. However, Shiwang’andu PF MP Stephen Kampyongo has warned that the UPND risks misinterpreting the Constitution by extending the sitting period, for which they may pay later.
