THE Resident Doctors Association of Zambia (RDAZ) says it has been receiving reports from volunteer doctors who are being threatened with blacklisting from formal employment if they withdraw their services. RDAZ president Dr Paul Chibwe claims that volunteer doctors are being compelled to sign contracts without the association’s knowledge, stressing that these agreements threaten them with permanent exclusion from future government employment if they stop volunteering.
