POLICE have recovered firearms, stolen motor vehicles, engines and car spare parts, following recent arrests in Lusaka Province. At a press briefing, Tuesday, Lusaka Province Commanding Officer Lemekani Chirwa said the province had experienced a worrying wave of violent crimes, including the murder of three Chinese nationals and a spike in motor vehicle thefts. “The province has been rocked by serious violent crimes: murders of Chinese nationals, aggravated robberies for huge sums of money from vehicles belonging to unsuspecting people who have no personal security.
