THE ruling party has dropped Timothy Kantenga as its candidate for the Chawama by-election after it was discovered that he only registered as a voter in December. UPND Chairman for Elections Gary Nkombo announced that the party has instead settled on Morgan Muunda to carry the UPND flag in the Chawama race. Meanwhile, Muunda has vowed to provide free water to every household and ensure better markets for the people of Chawama if elected.
