A 30-YEAR-OLD man of Mazabuka and his two-year-old son have died on the spot after being hit by a speeding Toyota Mark X. In a statement, Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo said preliminary investigations revealed that the accident occurred due to excessive speeding, as the driver failed to yield to the father who was carrying his son while crossing the road. “Mazabuka District Traffic recorded a fatal road traffic accident which occurred on December 17, 2025, at around 17:30 hours along the Great North Road near Kaleya Station, Mazabuka District.
