PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has instructed the Zambia Army, Zambia National Service (ZNS) and the RDA to conduct a countrywide assessment of all bridges and report on their state. This follows after a bridge on the Kankumba Stream in Sinjela area of Rufunsa District, along Great East Road collapsed after heavy rains. Meanwhile, ZNS Commander Lt Gen Maliti Solochi has assured the public that the Great East Road will be reopened to traffic.
