BETWEEN 2022 and 2025, the Mambwe Town Council disbursed over K24 million in bursaries under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), directly benefiting more than 3,300 local residents. The money was disbursed in line with the CDF Secondary Boarding School and Skills Development Bursaries component, which is one of the three pillars of the fund, alongside Community Projects and Youth, Women and Community Empowerment. According to records at Mambwe Town Council, a total of K24,697,995.05 was spent on bursaries between 2022 and 2025, with K14,822,627 spent on skills development bursaries while K9,875,368.05 was spent on secondary boarding bursaries.
