A 45-YEAR-OLD woman of Choma and her two juvenile children have died after being struck by lightning. In a statement, Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo confirmed the incident, stating that it occurred on January 3, around 12:30 hours. Namalongo added that preliminary investigations into the matter revealed that lightning struck the kitchen where the deceased were preparing lunch. “On January 3, at 15:00 hours, Batoka Police Post recorded a report of Sudden and Unnatural Death from Mr Given Sibbuku, aged 51, of Sianamaya Village, Chief Cooma, Choma District.
