KABWE’S Magandanyama area has received a facelift with a CDF-constructed health centre worth K2,611,312.79. The facility has solved the problem of long distances covered by the community to access services, as residents previously had to travel to Kabwe Central Hospital. According to Kabwe Municipal Council Public Relations Officer Sonia Mukwatu, the facility is a 2023 CDF project equipped with an Outpatient Department (OPD), Maternity Annex, water borehole, ablution block and equipment worth K639,385.00. “Magandanyama Health Centre was constructed at a total cost of K2,611,312.79 under the 2023 CDF funding. The health equipment was procured at a total of K639,385.00. The projects include the Magandanyama Health Centre OPD, Maternity Annex, water borehole and an ablution block,” said Mukwatu....
