THE Ministry of Education has reassured parents and guardians that fees related to basic school materials, uniforms, or examinations are not compulsory in the context of Free Education. In a statement, Monday, Ministry of Education Permanent Secretary Dr Kelvin Mambwe said where any charges are encountered, they must be clearly justified, transparent, and within the guidelines set by the Ministry of Education.
