THIEVES have broken into a pharmacy in Livingstone, belonging to an Indian national and have stolen US$18,000 and K60,300 cash. According to the Police, the suspects gained entry by cutting part of the pharmacy’s iron sheets and damaging the ceiling. In a statement, Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo confirmed the incident, saying it occurred between 23:00 hours on January 14, and 01:00 hours on January 15. “On January 15 at 10:57 hours, Livingstone Central Police Station received a report of breaking into a building and committing a felony therein from Mr Msagarkumar Nayee, aged 43 years, a businessman of Mambo Way, Livingstone.
