MAJORITY of people speaking on the late payment of farmers don’t even have fields, says Chief Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa. Meanwhile, Mweetwa has told the opposition to prepare for a heavy defeat in the August polls. Mweetwa has also wondered why the opposition blame President Hakainde Hichilema when they are arrested for committing crimes. Government has released funds to participating banks to pay all farmers who sold maize to the Food Reserve Agency (FRA). For the last two weeks, farmers have been spending nights at banks in order to access their money.
