MAGOYE Constituency member of parliament Mweemba Malambo has described the recent sweeping away of a police Land Cruiser by floodwaters as highly regrettable. The CDF-procured police Toyota Land Cruiser, registration number ZP 2750B, was swept away when the driver attempted to cross the Kawama Stream last Tuesday. Engineering and Fire departments from the Mazabuka Council, along with police officers, spent Wednesday afternoon attempting to retrieve the submerged vehicle, which was lying upside down in the water.
