GIRLS have outclassed boys in the recently announced Grade 12 results, a feat that highlights the growing academic potential of the girl child in the country. This success gives hope to the nation that more girls can excel once provided with a supportive environment for education. This realisation may have been in the mind of Dundumwezi Constituency member of parliament Edgar Sing’ombe when he recently commissioned the Mutinta Hichilema Girls’ Boarding Dormitory in Kasukwe Ward. The K584,833.23 dormitory, constructed under the 2025 CDF allocation, is set to improve accommodation for girls and improve their access to education.
