THE Ministry of Community Development and Social Services has launched the revised Social Cash Transfer (SCT) and Public Welfare Assistance Scheme (PWAS) guidelines. Key improvements contained in these revised guidelines include strengthened targeting and enrolment processes to ensure that the right households are identified and supported, as well as enhanced payment systems with stronger safeguards to protect public resources, among others.
