WORKERS stationed at Kawimbe Rural Health Post in Mbala District will no longer spend cold nights in dilapidated houses, thanks to the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), which has enabled the construction of three staff houses valued at K360,000. In many rural parts of the country, health workers often face challenges finding decent accommodation due to the lack of adequate infrastructure such as staff houses. This has led to some health workers being reluctant to be deployed to rural areas, thereby depriving people living in such areas of access to quality healthcare.
