THE Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and the Given Lubinda led PF have opposed the removal of the official mark on ballot papers. But ECZ Chief Electoral Officer Brown Kasaro says the official mark is not an imprinted security feature. Speaking during a Stakeholders meeting to receive submissions for the Electoral Process Amendment Bill 2026, Wednesday, DPP leader Antonio Mwanza submitted that the removal of the official mark on ballot papers posed a serious and unnecessary risk to electoral integrity and public confidence.
