THE Water Resources Management Authority (WARMA) has warned of flooding in Kanchibiya, Chinsali, and Kasama Districts between February 11 and 20, 2026. In a statement, Wednesday, WARMA Senior Public Relations and Communications Officer Smart Kalaluka said the expected floods in parts of Muchinga and Northern Provinces followed the rising water levels in major rivers. “The Water Resources Management Authority (WARMA) advises communities in Kanchibiya, Chinsali, and Kasama Districts of Muchinga and Northern Provinces that flooding is expected following rising water levels in major rivers.
