TAZAMA Pipeline Limited has disclosed that some oil marketing companies have defaulted in paying their dues after using the pipeline. TAZAMA also says only customers who have cleared their outstanding pipeline differential payments to the government will be allowed to use the pipeline in the future. TAZAMA Director of Finance Sylvia Simuyuni has lamented that ever since the pipeline differential cost was introduced in April 2024, there has been resistance from OMCs, who feel that this cost was not included in the transportation agreement.
