ACTING Leader of Government Business in the National Assembly, Jack Mwiimbu, says it is wrong to blame government for the South African police inquiry into former president Edgar Lungu’s death. He says the PF are the ones who alleged that Lungu was poisoned, not government, and that they should therefore allow the matter to be concluded. Mwiimbu was responding to Shiwang’andu PF MP Stephen Kampyongo, who said President Hakainde Hichilema should address the situation regarding Lungu’s body. This was during the debate to suspend Standing Orders 6, 27, 55 and 87 of the National Assembly of Zambia to accommodate President Hichilema’s address on national values and principles.
