GOVERNMENT last Tuesday handed over earth-moving equipment worth K10.5 million to Luwingu District in order to transform the district’s road network. The equipment, which includes a grader, roller compactor and excavator, was officially presented by Local Government and Rural Development Minister Gift Sialubalo during a colourful ceremony held at Luwingu’s Kapashi Grounds. Luwingu Town Council Public Relations Officer Tasila Banda says the machinery was procured using the 2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) in December last year.
