NORTEC Principal Martin Kasonso has dismissed reports that students protested over unpaid lunch allowances after meeting President Hichilema in Kitwe, saying only a few misbehaved after receiving false information that their allowances would not be paid. He noted that the institution had sent nearly 3,000 students from Ndola to Kitwe for the presidential event, and processing allowances for such a huge group took time.
