LIVINGSTONE residents have agreed to go by their 2019 proposal to divide the constituency into two, one being Livingstone West and the other Livingstone East. Meanwhile, Livingstone District Electoral Officer Sombo Kawilila says the delimitation exercise is about strengthening democracy and safeguarding equal representation for all citizens. The decision to go by the 2019 stakeholders’ decision was raised by a former teacher and heritage expert, Kufanga Nasilele, who said the boundary of the two constituencies was agreed to be the rail line. His suggestion was reaffirmed by former Livingstone Mayor Agrey Njekwa.
